General Manager Rhonda Hughes who directs and oversees the day-to-day operations, management of and business development for the FBO has been with the company since August, 2004.  Hughes has played a significant role in bringing the company from a new entity to its status as one of the most highly regarded FBO’s in the United States.  Prior to managing the FBO, Hughes was the Customer Relations Manager for Avitat Boca and was responsible for business development, establishing and maintaining relationships with corporate flight departments, pilots and passengers, as well as handling concierge services. She was also the liaison to FBO service providers (i.e. ground transportation, catering, hotel accommodations, etc.) to ensure the highest quality delivery of goods and services. Prior to joining Avitat Boca, Hughes was a regional manager at Multi Service Corporation where she was responsible for business development and customer service for corporate credit card company’s application of automated solutions for the corporate flight departments and FBOs.  Her earlier aviation industry career included tenure as a flight scheduler for Hoechst Marion Roussel, a large pharmaceutical company based at Kansas City Downtown Airport  responsible for overall management of daily aircraft operations and scheduling/dispatch functions for a fleet of three Gulfstream aircraft, the planning of international flights, coordination of requests charter operation, negotiation of fuel pricing, and directed catering, ground hotel, and ground transportation for flight crews and company executives.  She currently serves on the Exxon Avitat Council and is a member of Florida Aviation Trades Association (FATA), National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA), Georgia Business Aircraft Association (GBAA), National Air Transportation Association (NATA), South Florida Business Aircraft Association (SFBAA), and the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce.
