Ms June Humenyi, Human Resources and Administration I was born in Astoria, New York and raised on Long Island until my family relocated to Fort Lauderdale in 1978. After graduating from Cardinal Gibbons High School, I returned to attend Suffolk Community College in Long Island, New York. While attending college I obtained my first aviation job at Hudson General as a Customer Service Representative and Office Administrator at Islip MacArthur Airport (ISP). Hudson General was an FBO which also handled all of the arriving and departing commercial aircraft at ISP. They performed: fueling, deicing, baggage handling etc…for all of the commercial airlines and several commuter airlines at ISP. I often assisted the Accounting Department with the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions of the FBO. After working there for almost two years I decided to return to Florida. In October 1985 I began working at Landon Aviation Inc. as a Customer Service Representative located at the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (FLL). During my tenure with Landon Aviation Inc., I supported several departments administratively: Accounting, Aircraft Maintenance, Interior, Paint and Parts Departments. In 1992 the owner of Landon Aviation Inc. (James L. Knight) passed away and the company was purchased by South Florida Aircraft Inc., where I remained until 1997. My duties at South Florida Aircraft Inc. remained the same as they were with Landon Aviation Inc. but with more emphasis in the accounting and payroll areas. In 1997 I accepted a position with Fort Lauderdale Sheltair Aviation Services Inc. as Human Resources/Payroll Administrator. My duties with the Sheltair Aviation Services Inc. also included accounts payable and accounts receivable in addition to supporting the General Manager and the Properties Department. Prior to my departure in 2005 my duties were exclusively Human Resources where I assisted in several FBO acquisitions, Orlando (ORL), St. Petersburg (PIE) and LaGuardia (LGA). Most recently, I accepted a position with Premier Aviation of Boca Raton d.b.a. Avitat Boca Raton as Human Resources and Administration. In this position I support the General Manager, Operations Manager, Customer Service, Line Service and Accounting department.
